Detailed Review Of This Software Illusion Bowling

Can you bend reality with perspective?

In Illusion Bowling, your goal is simple – hit the bowling pin with a ball. But in this world, ordinary physics won’t help you. The only way to succeed is by creating impossible pathways through optical illusions.

Change your viewing angle to make distant platforms align. When they visually touch, they become indeed connected — allowing your ball to roll across invisible bridges, climb walls, or move sideways in ways that defy logic.

Every level challenges your perception and creativity. What looks impossible from one perspective may be the only solution from another.

Features:
• No advertisements – pure gameplay
• 66 handcrafted illusion puzzles
• Try the first 8 levels for free before unlocking the full game

Optical illusion meets physics in a mind-bending puzzle experience.
Illusion Bowling is all about rolling balls through a world of optical illusion.

The core concept is absolutely brilliant and I almost purchased the game! It's everything else that is a problem and has me on the fence. The UX is extremely bland and rather boring. Why do much damn yellow! And then there's the UI. Oh, the UI. Navigation is far too simplistic, you're forced into an UPSIDE DOWN landscape (really?), and a number of other things. The worst is that there's no easy way to exit the game. Swiping up from the bottom is finicky at best! You're nearly forced to reboot!

Great game and great concept, I liked playing it though I do see some issues, a few of them being: > The game runs really choppy, even on good hardware (Nothing [3a]). > as other people mentioned, the locked screen rotation to being "upside down landscape". > level solutions seem to be hard-coded (this is best seen on Level 7). (This one's a request for QOL) the game needs a pause/play button as the ball starting when you let go of the screen is really finicky.

Level seven is just stupid. There seems to be a right away solution, yet it doesn't work for some reason. I even though that something broke and that was a bug. Turns out it's just that you need to do a lot more to solve it, even though it's pretty much the same... The game itself seems like it's unfinished, the fixed upside down screen position and slow rotation of the map speed without the ability to stop the ball just as it is. And yes, 80% of the game is behind a paywall.
